Education

Born in Bremerhaven in 1970, Stephan Blohm pursued Business Administration studies at the University of Augsburg (1990 – 1995). Blohm subsequently relocated abroad and served as Head of Fund Accounting for a fund administrator catering to German institutional investors. He then directed a specialised division as Head of Business Project Services at a prominent global custodian bank.

After an additional three years, back-office specialist Stephan Blohm joined a major asset management firm, where he held the positions of Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) and subsequently Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Northern Europe (Germany, France, UK and Switzerland). His scope of responsibility encompassed Finance & Controlling, Product Development, Internal Audit, Project & Process Management, Product Development, Legal & Compliance, Human Resources and Information Technology.

Seeking fresh challenges, he relocated to Luxembourg. As Managing Director of an asset management organisation, he built his reputation as a specialist in structuring and administering customised capital investment frameworks. He delivered innovative, comprehensive and neutral service solutions for capital investments across all asset classes to institutional and high-net-worth private clients. He additionally oversaw the Marketing and Sales, Portfolio Management, Project Management and Product Development divisions.

Throughout his tenure in Luxembourg, where he subsequently assumed the Managing Partner role at a former competing firm, Stephan Blohm maintained strong connections with his native Germany, where he had been serving on the supervisory board of an owner-operated asset management company for several years concurrently.

Stephan Blohm currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of a medium-sized enterprise in the financial services industry. Concurrently, he also serves as an active member of the Board of Directors of our preferred administration and calculation agent PSI Services SA.
